After all the hullabaloo at 3GSM back in February about WM6 shipping and everyone supporting it there's no sign of mass availability. There's spotty availability like the HTC S710, and of course T-Mobile USA upgraded the Dash (but not the European equivalent the MDA Mail). I've seen WM6 on device for over a year now including old favorites like the HTC Universal and the HTC S620 (Excalibur) but they all faded away come RTM time.
I think Microsoft really need to get some pressure onto manufacturers and operators to start getting the upgrades out there, otherwise WM7 will be here before we know it and a whole class of devices capable of WM6 will have missed out.

I was intrigued to hear today about the proposed additional stop and search powers for the police here in the UK. I listened to people for and against the proposition. What struck me most was that its years, probably decades since I've seen a police presence on the street except for exceptional circumstances. So, who are they going to stop if they aren't out on the beat ? which is of course where we want them.
Do Tesco Own my Life ?
I just signed up for the Tesco DVD rental service which is actually the 'LoveFilm' service just rebranded and cheaper. But of course this is just another step towards Tesco owning my life. They insure my car, my house, my health, provide my mortgage, I have a Tesco Bank account, they supply broadband, my mobile phone, broker my electricity and gas bills, provide my travel (rebranded LastMinute) and of course they supply my groceries!
Now all they need to do is provide a rebranded google search site 'Tescoogle' combined with the ClubCard and they would not only own my life but know everything I ever do.
